EDM has conquered the globe causing hundreds of cities to sprout and spin into bass-bumping party epicenters. Miami, Vegas, Buenos Aires, Tokyo—all big cities with influential club scenes, but which are the biggest? Whether you’re planning a trip

or want to know if your favorite city made the cut, check our list of the globe’s best cities for EDM.

5. Los Angeles, California

In LA the underground is bigger than the mainstream. The original home of the now-famous Electric Daisy Carnival and annual Hard events creates its unique culture from its mix of Hollywood partying, Santa Monica club life, Hipster living in Echo Park and its renowned reputation for being a music-industry epicenter. Clubs like Avalon Hollywood, Exchange Los Angeles, Sutra and the Fonda Theater bring mainstream dance music to the public while an exclusive industry underground of warehouse and abandoned-factory parties bring an incomparable dynamic to the city.

4. Montreal, Canada

The Bohemian Quebec capitol is famous for its wild side. College students, French-speaking locals and low legal-drinking age are factors that have made this a North American party destination. EDM-centralized clubs, music festivals and liberal last-call laws captivate bass heads. Crescent Street, Plateau Mont-Royal and Boulevard Saint-Laurent are major club district where

you may see some ravewear.com neon and fur.

3. Berlin, Germany

Berlin is home to some of EDM’s biggest festivals like Tomorrowland, the annual Love Parade and local events like Laundry Day Festival and Berlin festival 2012 with Club XBerg. Finding the good clubs in Berlin can be complicated as most are not extremely advertised with hole-in-the-wall entrances, making it difficult to navigate. Berghain is a globally renowned club favorable to EDM and known for its hard partying. Weekend is a roof-top club bordered with windows offering a panoramic view of the city. Located on the top floor of an old office building in Alexanderplatz, Weekend is a great experience— if you can find it.

2. Manchester, United Kingdom

The UK’s third-largest urban area is synonymous with dance music. Manchester’s history of revolution is transferred into its culture and the need for constant freshness. Nightlife, clubs and bars are the ways in which most locals and visitors celebrate EDM. If you’re lucky or know a local, the Warehouse Project is a venue to check out, their concept is to be a banging venue that hosts great shows for a while then disappear. Creators of the concept have tackled the idea previously at abandoned locations and the phenomena has continued to grow. Sankeys club is one of the best clubs in Manchester, once ranked No. 1 on DJ Magazine’s best clubs charts. Manchester is also home to some of EDM’s biggest festivals

like Creamfields, Electric Picnic and South West Four Weekender Festival.

1. Ibiza, Spain

Ibiza is hands down the world’s party capitol. Located off the coast of Spain this Mediterranean island has going hard since the 80s. Clubs like Amesia, Pacha, Space and Privilege dominate the island in the summertime with the biggest and best DJs as residents. In Ibiza, clubs run until 6 a.m. Don’t worry about where you stay as you will be spending little time in your bed.
